First Place Most Original Costume!

We had a costume contest and trick-or-treating at my work yesterday. My costume was June Cleaver. I might, maybe, may have bribed the judges with my Betty Crocker cook book, and empty promises of baking anything they chose. It must have worked since I won first place most original costume! My boss won cutest costume with her full bee suit. My other co-worker took 2nd place of most original as the Dark Fairy of "tire changing season" you can see her with the black crow resting on her arm.

My boss Dixi passed out the Red Waxy lips. This is just the Care Coordination Team, there were a whole bunch of fun costumes and lots of trick or treaters.

The Fall Festival

Our reception was so much fun! The Fall carnival theme turned out so cute and better than expected. We had so many compliments and it was great to break the mold from the typical Utah wedding reception.

Our nieces and nephews helped with the carnival games. They were the game officiators and they loved it, they had so much fun. The three games were a coke ring bottle toss, a bean bag toss, and another game tossing ping pong ball to win a live gold fish! We gave away about a hundred live gold fish, a few hundred ring pops and tons of cotton candy.

The frosting was really far up my nose, down my dress and stuck all over Jed's beard...it was really thick too it didn't wipe off easily.

HERE COMES THE BRIDE (and the Groom of course!)

I know you have all been waiting to see some wedding pictures. Thank you for patiently waiting until after our honeymoon for us to post some pictures. We haven't got anything from the photographer but my brother-in-law Bryce, and niece Kenzie took some really great shots! I hope you enjoy and know there are more to come!

Sneak Preview!

We haven't got our pictures from our photographer yet, but my neice took this picture and a few others to give you a sneak peak! Hopefully I can get the pictures downloaded tonight and give a good update. Meanwhile, we are back to our daily routine! We had so much fun in Utah, and on our cruise. I am excited to post pictures! Hopefully by night!

Feed My Sheep

We had a really fun weekend. One of my co-workers decided to leave us for another job, so all of the Care Coordination Team wanted to go out to dinner as a last "Hoorah". I was excited to go out to dinner with them until I remembered that I had volunteered to fee the missionaries that day. I told my co-workers that I would not be available, and when they questioned my reasoning for bailing on them I told them the truth; I had to fee the missionaries. My boss teased me a lot about it then she jokingly told me to bring them with me. I didn't think she was serious, but they really wanted me to come to dinner with them. All week my co-workers were laughing that I was bringing the "mormon missionaries" to dinner. It inspired all sorts of stories, bible discussions and teasing. The funny part is no one told our co-worker Lizaldy where we were going, someone told him to bring a change of clothes --just to mess with him. That morning I didn't want to surprise Lizaldy by showing up with missionaries (since it was his farewell party) So I told him I was bring the Missionaries. He got super anxious wanting to know what we were doing...finally he said, "You're not going to try to baptize me are you?" He couldn't figure out why he need a change of clothes, then just connected the two. He was just joking but we thought it was really funny. The missionaries were awesome. My co-workers were very polite to them. The Elders were really excited to go out to eat with us. They said the Singles Ward doesn't have the best meals, "mostly grilled cheese". They ordered a large pizza and before I had a chance to take a picture they had eaten almost the whole thing!

After we fed the missionaries we went to the Broadway Lion King that was on tour in Anchorage. It was really fun to see!
