Flattop, Zoo, & Fireworks

It's been a while since I updated my blog, so I just have a bunch of randomness. Yesterday Heath and I tried to hike Flat Top. We didn't make it clear to the top just to the saddle...I thought I was going to die. I haven't really been doing much besides lying around and puking for the last four months, so I shouldn't be surprised.

This is me dying...gasping for air ;)

MOVING ON...

Baby Bump: 16 weeks
Yeah, I know it's not that impressive.

Jed and I went to the zoo on Friday, it is always fun to wander around and look at wild animals in cages.

The Polar Bear behind us moved for a second to roll over...that is the most moven't I have ever seen from it...he's kind of boring.

AND....
Over the Fourth of July Jed and I drove to Fairbanks. We stopped in Houston to grab some Sparklers...and I got to get some pictures with the gorilla and batman.

Fireworks are a little boring in Alaska because it is so light. So Jed and I did them at 9AM when he got home from work...then after we burned some sparklers...I drove back to Anchorage.

As far as a pregnancy update: I am feeling a little better, but still getting nauseous, but it's not nearly as bad as it was...just annoying.

I am craving hot jalapenos, especially hot jerky. I am also loving the squeeze cheese in a can.

**Also, Jed's brother just got engaged...so there is slight possibility that we may come down for the wedding, depending what date they decide on.

  1. You guys are so cute and so funny. I hope that you get to come to UT! And even if you can't come for the wedding, I think you should come down alone for some girl time with your friends and family and so we can spoil you with baby stuff! Jed can survive some time on his own....and one ticket is cheaper than two anyway ;)

Oh and sorry I have been messaging you so much, when I get a thought I have to hurry and write it down otherwise I forget!

  2. Jed's brother got engaged to my old roommate, so you should encourage them to get married NOT the last weekend of August so that Clark and I can see you! (We'll be in Oregon that weekend for Clark's brother's wedding.)

Love that you're getting cravings. Just be careful you don't overdo the spicy--heartburn can be nasty business . . .
