Announcing...

BABY JONES
DUE DECEMBER 17, 2011

So a couple weeks ago Jed and I found out that I was pregnant. It came as kind of a surprise, and ended up changing many (more like all) of our plans.
Since I found out I have been so sick, just awfully, horribly, twenty-four hour a day nausea and puking. I am estimating that I am only 8 weeks along, but we will know more at my first appointment on the 17th. So I will keep you updated on how this thing turns out!

  5. Congratulations, Sarah (and Jed)! Clark and I are so excited for you both!

And, Sarah, the morning sickness and nausea eventually goes away. And that is one of the best days EVER!) Find what helps your tummy (for me it was baked/mashed potatoes without too many condiments) and just make sure that you try to keep something in it all the time because that is what will help with the nausea the most. And don't be afraid to ask the doctor if you can get a prescription for the morning sickness/nausea (that's what finally *ended* it for me!)

    So happy for you!

  7. I am so stinkin EXCITED!!!! I have already made a stop at the fabric store to check out all the materials i could use to create something for my new niece or nephew!! (I didn't buy, it was hard, i walked away)! The wheels in my head are just turning with ideas. Now if i there was a magic way to find out what the baby is before the 25 week ultra-sound.

  9. Congratulations! I second Natalia's comment about baked potatoes with few condiments. They were a lifesaver for me during my first trimester. Goldfish crackers too. And no matter how much food sounds terrible, it's true, having something in your stomach at all times really does help. 14 weeks was the magic time for me when the nausea went away. Hope you feel better soon!
